The Intramural and Recreational Sports Office is currently looking for dependable individuals with a passion for sports. We are hiring officials each semester for basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, and volleyball. No experience is necessary, full training is provided. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of sports, and meet people on campus. For more information, stop by Room 105 of the Aquatic and Fitness Center, or call 703-993-GMU1.
Positions Available:
Field - Event Supervisors: Recreational Sports Supervisors are responsible for the daily operation of Recreational Sports activities. Knowledge of Intramural rules and procedures is a must. Duties include daily event set-up and breakdown, supervision of student officials/scorekeepers, and time sheet verification. First aid, CPR, and AED certifications is required. Training will be provided! Pay rate starts at $8.25 an hour. This is the perfect job for students looking to work in the athletic industry and gain valuable supervisory skills. Officials: All officials are
responsible for enforcing sport specific rules to ensure a safe
environment for all participants and spectators. Knowledge of sports
and a willingness to learn is required. Full Training will be provided!
Pay rate starts at $7.25 an hour. All officials MUST complete
and pass our mandatory training clinic before they may be scheduled
to work. Make arrangements to attend a student official clinic.
Student officiating is a great opportunity to meet people on-campus.

Scorekeepers: No experience required! Scorekeepers will be responsible for all off field duties. Duties include keeping game statistics, scores, and enforcing our GMU ID policy. Pay rate starts at $7.00 an hour. LIMITED POSITIONS AVAILABLE!
