** Please review the steps listed below in order to register for intramural competition.
Eligibility:
* Intramural sports are open to all current Mason students, faculty, and staff with a valid university ID.
Current Activity Schedule:
* The current intramural and recreation sports schedule can be found online, as well as, the display boards in the Aquatic and Fitness Center, Field House, and PE Building. For more information regarding upcoming events, please contact a recreational sports assistant at 703-993-4681.
How to Register a Team:
* Check the registration dates for the activity you are interested in online or on one of the display boards around campus.
* Organize a group of current Mason students or faculty/staff members who would like to participate.
* Download and complete the "Team Registration Form."
* Return the completed form to the Recreational Sports Office (Room 113, Aquatic and Fitness Center) during open registration for the specific activity. No incomplete rosters will be accepted.
* Download and review the Captain's Guide and rules for the sport or activity you wish to participate.
* Attend the mandatory team Captain's meeting. Playing dates and times will be selected at the Captain's meeting. Teams who fail to have a team representative present , will be charged a $25 fee to be reinstated to the league. These meetings are designed to review intramural rules and policies with team captains prior to the start of their season.
Need Help Finding a Team? "Free Agent Registration"
Is there a sport or activity that you would like to participate in but cannot find a team? Complete our online "Free Agent Form" and we will do our best to place you on a team. We recommend trying to find a team before completing the "Free Agent Form."
