Part-time Wage Employee Verification Form:
All George Mason University part-time wage employees must have this form completed and returned to the Rec Sports Office each semester prior to being eligible for participation in the Intramural Program.* All team registration forms must be completed and returned to the Recreational Sports Office (Room 113, Aquatic and Fitness Center) during the open registration dates. We cannot accept late or incomplete entry forms. All late entries will be placed on a wait list. All participants within the Recreational Sports Program must be a currently enrolled George Mason student, or faculty/staff member.
Please be sure to complete all required information on your registration form. We will offer "A" and "B" Divisions for most league sports. Please be sure to indicate which league you wish to participate.
How to Register a Team:
* Check the registration dates for the activity you are interested in online or on one of the display boards around campus.
* Organize a group of current Mason students or faculty/staff members who would like to participate.
* Download and complete the "Team Registration Form."
* Return the completed form to the Recreational Sports Office (Room 113, Aquatic and Fitness Center) during open registration for the specific activity. No incomplete rosters will be accepted.
* Download and review the Captain's Guide and rules for the sport or activity you wish to participate.
* Attend the mandatory team captain's meeting. Playing dates and times
will be selected at the Captain's meeting. Team who fail to have a team representative present , will be charged a $25 fee to be reinstated to the league. These meetings are designed to review intramural rules and policies with team captains prior to the start of their season.
Individual "Free Agent" Entry Form:
* This form is for individuals who absolutely cannot find a team on their own, or would like some assistance in finding a team. You may also use this form to register for individual events such as Texas Hold 'Em, Homerun Derby, Fantasy Football, or Punt/Pass/Kick.
We cannot make any guarantees to place everyone on a team, but we will do our best. Should we have enough "free agent" registrations to field a complete team, we will then place everyone registered (up to the roster limit) on a "Free Agent Team." Once you have been placed on a team, you will be notified by our office as to what team you have been placed on.
