George Mason Equestrian Club connects students who share a love for horses and riding. Focusing on hunter seat equitation the club provides a safe and welcoming environment for students to participate in equestrian sports. Lessons for both the inexperienced beginner and the seasoned competitor are available through River Chase Farm in Aldie, VA, where the club holds its weekly practices. Practice times are determined at the beginning of each semester, with both morning, afternoon, and evening sessions being offered. In addition to the weekly practices, private and semi-private lessons are also available at the student's request.

Members are encouraged to tryout for the intercollegiate team, which competes in Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), American National Riding Commision (ANRC), and Virginia Horse Show Association (VHSA) shows.
